At Renas, we think green in practice. We reduce our water and energy consumption through modern equipment, optimized processes and environmentally friendly solutions that benefit both the climate and our customers.

Our water and energy saving efforts

We are working hard to reduce our energy consumption and ensure a more resource-efficient operation. All light sources in the building have been replaced with LED and we have removed every second fluorescent lamp in the warehouse to minimize electricity consumption. In addition, motion sensors have been installed on 70 % of the lighting and on the taps in the toilets so that consumption is only activated when needed.

We have optimized our heating by replacing the district heating on the ground floor with air-to-air heat pumps and improved the building envelope with new sealed windows, rubber strips and better insulation. The roof of the administration building has been replaced, increasing the insulation thickness from 800 mm to 3300 mm.

As part of our green transition, we have also installed a 47 kW photovoltaic system that contributes green power to our daily operations.

That's why we focus on creating awareness among employees about their daily habits - like turning off lights, minimizing waste and using resources wisely. Through training and dialog, we make it easy to make green choices in everyday life, both at customer sites and at our own locations.

Cleaning machines with low energy consumption

We use energy-efficient cleaning machines that use less power and water without compromising on quality. This reduces both environmental impact and operating costs.

Microfiber technology

Microfiber cloths and mops make it possible to significantly reduce water consumption. At the same time, the technology ensures efficient cleaning and high hygiene standards - with less wear on surfaces.

Environmentally friendly dosing systems

With precise dosing systems, we avoid waste and overuse of detergents. This protects the environment and ensures consistent cleaning quality throughout the organization.

Energy-optimized heating and dehumidification

Our heating and dehumidification equipment is designed for low energy consumption and high performance - ideal for construction sites, commercial premises and temporary installations.

Eco-conscious employee training

All our employees are trained in resource-saving working methods, correct dosing and the use of energy-efficient equipment to minimize everyday waste.

Data and documentation of savings

We document our energy consumption and optimization initiatives so that our customers gain insight into the environmental benefits and can use the figures actively in their ESG reporting.
